    355410 - Family Summer Snorkel

    The mangrove ecosystem is known as the nursery of the ocean. Come explore the back side of the island with us as we snorkel the shallow Intracoastal waters to study the animals sheltered and protected from the ocean’s dangers here. Bring your own snorkel, mask, and water shoes (no fins allowed).
    • Advanced reservations are required.
    • Adults and children ages 10 and up; adults must register and participate with minors.

    355490 - 2022 Hatchling Release

    Registration for Boca and BPD Residents, GL Coastal Steward Members opens May 3 at 9am.
    Registration for all others opens May 17 at 9am.
    Meet in Gumbo Limbo Classroom. All ages may attend, children under the age of 18 must attend with an adult. Children UNDER 12 months do not need to be registered. Program is rain or shine. For the safety of all involved, the outdoor portion may be cancelled if lightning is detected.

    355700 - Gumbo Limbo Kayaking

    PLEASE NOTE:
    1. Ages: 7-adult; Each child under 13 must be accompanied by one adult parent/guardian– No child under 13 may paddle a single kayak. Minors under 18 must sign-up and participate with a registered adult.
    2. Maximum participants per program: 8. If there are not enough spaces available for registration, please do not bring additional people; they will not be able to join the group.
    3. Last minute cancellations may occur due to weather.
    4. There are no refunds unless a class has been cancelled by Gumbo Limbo.
    5. All participants must have kayaking experience and be able to get in and out of a kayak without assistance.
    6. Single/double kayaks will be assigned to couples/groups as available.

    355701 - Gumbo Limbo Canoeing

    PLEASE NOTE:
    1. This program is for experienced paddlers; minors under 18 must sign-up and paddle with a registered adult.
    2. Maximum participants per program: 14. If there are not enough spaces available for registration, please do not bring additional people; they will not be able to join the group.
    3. Last minute program cancellations may occur due to weather.
    4. There are no refunds unless a class has been cancelled by Gumbo Limbo.
    5. All participants must have canoeing experience and be able to get in and out of a canoe without assistance.
    6. Canoes hold 2-3 people; single paddlers will be paired with staff or another single participant.
    7. As these programs are not intended for inexperienced paddlers, for the safety of our participants and instructors, paddlers who are not able to safely maneuver a boat will return to the shore and a refund will be issued.
